Scope of work

1. Project planning and safety

2. Boring operations

2.1. Pilot hole drilling

• Pilot hole creation: Use a surface-launched drilling rig with a steerable drill head to create a small-diameter pilot hole along the pre-approved path.

2.2. Reaming and pullback

• Borehole enlargement: Pull a reaming tool back through the pilot hole to progressively enlarge it to the required diameter for the utility line.

• Utility installation: Connect the new utility pipe or conduit to the drill rig and pull it back through the reamed borehole into place.
